WILL SMITH:THE FRESH PRINCE

Will Smith formerly known as The Fresh Prince, surely the most successful crossover star of the modern era.
His full name is Willard Christopher Smith Jr .He was born on October 25th,1968 in Philadelphia,USA to a middle class family.
His father had a refrigeration company installing and maintaining freezer cabinets in supermarkets. Will had a bright childhood life and a special habit for which
he earned his nickname 'Prince'.Instead of being a son from a Baptist family, yet Will would attend a Catholic school. He lived in a such area where was populated
by Orthodox Jews and strongly Muslim. He learned how to be liked by everyone. Will was influenced both by Eddie Murphy and Grandmaster Flash. He began
rapping at the age of 12.Jeff Townes and Will became firm friends and began to collaborate, Jeff as DJ, Will as rapper (having expanded his nickname to Fresh
Prince). The duo were so vigorous that Will got scholarship to Boston's super-prestigious MIT in order to pursue his dream.Smith himself later claimed that MIT was mentioned because he had very high SAT scores and his mother knew the admissions officer there. But there was little real chance of his being accepted, he'd say, as "I was a B-student that did C-level work.Occasionally I'd pull it out the bag and get an A".In 1991 DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince scored their
biggest chart hit to date with the excellent "Summertime, from the album Homebase. The year following, he made his feature film debut in the drama 'Where the Day Takes' You; in 1993. In 1995,Smith co-starred in the action film Bad Boys, a major box-office hit.It set the stage for his leading role in 1996's Independence Day, the summer's biggest smash. He was nominated twice for the Oscar.Shortly on the heels of his first box-office disappointment, 1999's Wild Wild West,he returned with the album Willennium.
